A transgender person is someone who doesn't identify with the gender they were assigned at birth. They may experience gender incongruence, which is a feeling of disconnect with one's gender. Or they experience gender dysphoria, which is a sense of unease in your own body.
Transgender is an umbrella term that includes trans men, trans women, nonbinary people, etc... Anyone who does not identify with their birth gender may identify as trans.
The term nonbinary can be used to describe anyone who doesn't identify as being a male or a female. Many people think nonbinary people have to be androgynous and use they/them, which is not true and puts nonbinary people into a binary.
Nonbinary people may lean more towards male or female, or be completely in the middle. Their gender identity may also change over time, which is called genderfluid or genderflux.
A person who identifies as agender does not identify as any gender, which may sound complicated. They are genderless.
Bigender means someone who identifies with two genders. They may identify as male and female at the same time
Someone who is a demiboy identifies partially as male. The same applies to demigirl but of course with female.
Boyflux and girlflux are similar to genderfluid, but they only range within one gender. Someone who is girlflux may identify as 25% girl one day, then 100% the other.
These are both under the umbrella term "genderflux". If you feel similar to either of these labels but they don't quite fit, you might be genderflux! It's similar to genderfluid, but someone's gender only ranges between certain points on the gender spectrum.
Genderfluid people's gender identity changes over time. They may identify as more male one day, then neutral the next.
Similar to the sexuality queer, people who are genderqueer are not sure of what their gender identity is, but they know they are not cis.
